you have to ask yourself, what IS going on with his foot? at this point you have to believe that long term rest is the only way this is gonna heal properly.
sounds so much like a stretched Achilles, i suffered from as a casual runner (used to run 8-10 miles a day, long time ago) and that injury took well over 8-9 months to recovery with absolutely minimal activity on my part. i didn't think it would ever heal. i don't think Cody has let this thing heal properly and tried to "play/train through it".
