i don't mean this to be a jerk. I just thought it was funny. You guys won the game on the field. I have nothing against the Nebraska Football team or anything. just thought i would share. it is funny and is meant to be satirical. nothing more, nothing less
Why does it seem opposing fans, particularly in the North, are so intent on attacking the fans and people of Nebraska? From K-State fans depicting Nebraskan's as hicks (irony was apparently lost on them), to Mike DeArmond's rant before the Missouri game, and now this unoriginal attempt at "comedy."
Nebraska fans on message boards will, of course, retaliate with choice words of their own at times, but I've never seen our local media doing a bit depicting Buff fans holding a giant bong for instance.
Perhaps the letter from the Husker fan they mentioned at the beginning has merit. I see no other reason for this type of personal attack on an entire population other than ugly resentment and jealousy over Nebraska's history of dominance over aforementioned North schools and her apparent return to that status.
