Husker QB - TJ Lateef

How about putting in a fullback as now we have a QB who can run the triple option!! Buttttt I don't think Dana would know how to run it/teach it. Where is Jamey Chadwell when you need him?

It is kind of what they do with those roll outs...You have that option to give to the RB...then you start your roll...then you have the run/pass option.

Also, I know that my posts are not as amazingly accurate as everyone else BUT...

I think this being a road game at a very lame place with pretty much no fans, is a huge plus.

It won't be that loud, there will be Husker fans there too, there won't be the "home game pressure" of feeling the weight of every single play.

The kid can sling it. Seen that on the Touchdown pass to i forget his name. I don't care who we were playing. It was on a rope and accurate.

As i have been telling a few people around me. Correct me if Im wont but most of Danas high powered offense had a dual threat Qb.

I think this week the offense will looks bit different but still a little yuck. But come the Penn State game we may have the explosion on offense.

Having watched Gino Smith and Case Keenum as NFL QB- neither are anything close a dual threat. Gino maybe in his early days- he is a (crappy) statue now.

GO BIG RED!!!!!!!!

Geno is no spring chicken now. But he ran for 500 yards in two separate seasons in college.

But I believe what @BaytownHusker was trying to refer to is Dana has struggled to produce a significant rushing offense without a dual-threat QB. He's been able to direct other offenses that are high-powered but did not get much from their running game.
