Husker Rob

Well my journey into the depths of hell is almost complete. I am in Kuwait and will be heading north soon. I wont be posting much until then because I have to pay $5.00 an hour for internet access. Just another was for ATT to screw the soldiers. (ESPN must own part of ATT)

Let me know who the latest assclowns are, and I will have something special for them in the woodshed.

Thank you to everyone

Rob

I'm saving my money now Rob for when you come back next year and we go to the ISU vs. Nebraska game!!!! We have some beers to drink!!!! :worship :thumbs :cheers

roger that, i could use one about now.

i am still waiting on a flight up north because the Air Farce doesnt seem to want to play nice with others. i might get out today or it might be a week who knows.

anywho----i see no one really deserves one of my rants in the woodshed yet. but somebody PM me with their name and i'll post a gem for them.

i have an 1 1/2 hours left on my internet card and wouldnt you know it but you cant use them at different bases........just another way for ATT to f*ck you.

did i say how much ATT reminds me of ESPN. no love for the Huskers. they must know somehow that i am a Husker and anytime I try to use the phones or the internet everything goes in slow motion or doesnt work at all.

better stop before the mods send this post to the woodshed

All of you on this board (with a few exceptions) ROCK.....thanks for everything

I just wanted to update everyone that my Journey to Iraq is now complete. I have made it and if you ever get the chance to come here....dont.

I will be working for a group of people from Iowa of all places.

I am going to have my wife send me a "NU" flag over and I will have a taligat party for the USC game. Flying the Husker Colors while drinking a non-alcoholic beer (Coors), and eating a "To-Go" plate from the mess hall.

So all of you who are lucky enough to go to the games remember that there is at least 1 "Husker" here but my heart is there.

If any of you have contacts to the team, please pass on the following message to the players and coaches from me.

"The is no place like Nebraska. No matter if you live in Nebraska or have been transplanted to the 4 coners of the world. Remember that there is no place like Nebraska. As you put on that Scarlet and Cream uniform and the white helmet with the Big Red "N" on it, remember that you are representing a state that supports you with all of its heart and soul. There are thousands of Husker fans currently serving our great country and are in harms way everyday. We are proud to call ourselves "HUSKER FANS" and you should be proud to call yourselves "HUSKERS". Good luck to you on your upcoming season, and I will pray that you all remain healthy.

Now go out there and kick the living sh*t out of every team you play this year. GO BIG RED"

Hey Rob,

Thanks for the updates. Glad to hear you made it over safely. I will see what I can do about sending your note along. I hope things work out for you to see some of the games this season. You will definitely be on our minds throughout the season. Thanks again and be well.

thanks Blackshirt----I will try and check the board as often as I can. the internet connection where I am is hit and miss so there might be a few days between my posts, but that should make a few people happy.

to everyone on the board if there is a special somebody that you want a classic rant in the woodshed to go out to just drop his/her name on this thread to me and I will try and come up with something special for them.

By the way, Iraq smells like the worlds outhouse, all day every day. oh and it is hot as hell here also but it is getting cooler. only going to be 110 today.

HUSKERS kick a$$, sCUm and KSUcks blow

GO BIG RED
