Huskers Record in Alt Uniforms

If uniforms win/lose games...why are we recruiting players? We should be recruiting Nike and their outlandish uniform designs...CAUSE THEY'RE WINNING.

:sarcasm This is only here for those who can't take a joke. The end.

Oregon starting making radical changes to their uniforms in 1999. Here are their records since then. You decide. Was it the uniforms or the coaching?

Oregon Ducks

Coach: Mike Bellotti

1999 9-3

2000 10-2

2001 11-1

2002 7-6

2003 8-5

2004 5-6

2005 10-1

2006 7-6

2007 9-4

2008 10-3

Coach Chip Kelly

2009 10-3

2010 12-1

2011 12-2
It was the ridiculous influx of Nike money, which bought the coaches, the uniforms, and all of their new facilities.
Bellotti was there before the "influx" of Nike money and Chip Kelly came from a powerhouse school known as the University of New Hampshire. Oregon is Kelly's first D1A job. Give credit where credit is due. They built that program into the powerhouse it is today. Sure the Nike money helped, but they were on their way prior to Uncle Phil's big money.

Having Nike money to "persuade" recruits (**cough** LaMichael James **cough**) didn't hurt either.

Let's see. 4-13 in alternates through the 2009 season. I don't see that we had an alternate in 2010 or 2011.

2012 we wore the Big N jerseys against Wisconsin and won; 5-13
2013 we wore the black alts against UCLA and lost; 5-14
2014 we wore the all red with duct tape numbers against Illinois and won; 6-14
2015 we wore all blacks vs Northwestern and lost; 6-15
2016 we wore all whites with shiny numbers against Northwestern and won; 7-15
2017 we wore the 90s throwbacks against Wisconsin and lost; 7-16
2018 we wore some throwbacks with tan(?) pants against Illinois and won; 8-16
2019 we wore black alts against Indiana and lost; 8-17
2020 we wore the blackshirt alts against Illinois and lost; 8-18
2021 we wore the NU helmet/all whites against Buffalo and won; 9-18
2022 we wore the 97(?) throwbacks against Ga Southern and lost; 9-19
2023 we wore the blue outline alts against Northwestern and won; 10-19

I don't think we had an alternate last year. So, 10-19 overall by my count but I think I missed a couple times in there where we wore all white (2016 Music City Bowl which was a loss and 2015 all whites at Miami which was a loss and 2014 Holiday Bowl vs USC which was also a loss).

I guess its more like 10-22?
