1967 Sugar Bowl, after wearing red number decals on their helmets all season, Nebraska wears an off-set NU on their lids. Alabama 34-7, 0-2

1986, Nebraska wears all-red vs Oklahoma. Sooners 20-17. Alt uni record, 1-4

1992 vs Missouri, all-white in a 34-24 win. 434 yards passing by a 3-8 Mizzou team. Alt uni record, 2-6

Probably the best example of the all-white hex, 19-10 loss to 4-7 Iowa St. Alt uni record, 2-7

1992 Nebraska abandons their all-white look at Oklahoma. Traditional red pants, 33-9 win.

The traditional look stayed until the 2002 All-white road uniforms. Lost to Penn St. 40-7 Alt uni record, 2-8

2002 All-white road uni's...lost to Iowa State 36-14 Alt uni record, 2-9

2002 all-white, 1st loss to Oklahoma State in over 40 years. Alt uni record 2-10

2002 2nd biggest comeback in school history over Texas A&M. Alt uni record 3-10

Nebraska goes all-white in Bill Callahan's last game 65-51 Colorado win. Alt uni record, 3-13

2009 throwbacks vs UL-Layfayette 55-0 win. There you have it...Nebraska's alternate uniform record since the Devaney era, 4-13

The 2002 uniforms certainly can't count towards that statistic, since they were our "regular" uniforms that year, they weren't alternates...

right? :dunno

agree

Same with the '92 games. In fact take all those losses off in 92, and add an alternate win, because the red pants at OU would have been the "alternate".

yikes. depending on the game they choose to do this - it certainly worries me that we'll have another "red out Texas 2010" type of atmosphere/outcome.

The past is the past. Maybe I'm not superstitious, but it's more about who is inside the jersey and how well they play. Not the jersey itself.

Basically from that, the all white uni's need to never ever be used again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But, everyone says we NEED cool black uniforms so we get publicity. Once we get publicity and black uni's, we get recruits, because they love publicity and black uni's. Once we get recruits, we'll go 14-0 every year. Hello? Logic!

That's what I was thinking as well
What does it matter if they're "alternate" uniforms for that season or not? The point is, don't wear all red or all white, because obviously they're cursed.
so just so we're clear...all black is ok - as it has not yet been cursed. fine w/ me :P

Obviously it's more coincidence than anything.
