There is such a thing as the law of diminishing returns and it applies to time spent on coaching related X’s and O’s activity too. Just cause someone spends 18 hrs o day on “coaching” doesn’t necessarily make that person a better coach than the one who spends 12 hrs a day “coaching”.

This doesn’t mean Rhule has been perfect, great, etc….but your argument you seem to be making of….just put more time into coaching and less on other stuff makes no sense unless you have an accounting of how Rhule spends every hour of every day and what added benefit an extra hour of film study on top of what is already done is gonna provide to a team win.

At some point it’s not a time thing, it’s an are you good at your job thing.

You play who's in front of you. But it stinks a little that we get pulled up a bowl level because we bring fans. We should be playing 8-4 teams at best.

We'll see, but there was zero chance I'm paying money to travel and watch the game in person.

Not wasting Bourbon and Jeep money on that game. TV works.

I was once in Vegas in mid July. Thermometer in my Yukon said it was 136. Whoever came up with “but it’s a dry heat” can bite me. It was Texasing hot. I’ll take 54 any day.
