Ignoring the Obvious

I'd rather have a freshman making mistakes than having a senior or a seasoned junior making those mistakes.

I would disagree because of the confidence factor that younger players have and how easily that can be damaged as opposed to a veteran's confidence. The coaches know more about how certain players will react to certain situations and if they are not playing the younger players, there is an obvious reason why.
Yeah well, I’m glad you have so much confidence in our coaches…I certainly don’t; at least not on the defensive side of the ball. Coz doesn’t seem to have a clue. His defense is about as sophisticated as Solich’s offense was. Coz occasionally stumbles into a correct call, but as soon as something proves to be working he quickly abandons it for one of his idiotic weak-a$$ zones. And since he does not know how to call a game properly, what makes anyone think he can evaluate talent. And if there is any doubt that he is not coaching well, riddle me this batman. How do we go from a team that leads the nation in sacks, to a team that often cannot get to the quarterback when we need to most? I suggest that it has something to do with the concept of switching players all over the field to make sure certain players on always on the strong side.

BC gave a press conference where he indicated that there would be changes coming. I certainly hope he has the integrity to change the biggest problem…COZ! Coz must go!

You bring up an interesting point to me..................last year we had a horrible running offense and a great defense!!!! This year we have a great offense and a bad defense.................what the hell is wrong with this picture..............

BRI-didnt we return all 11 players from last years defense that had 50 sacks

the problem couldnt be the lack of depth at the DB positions would it?

this is nothing new, last year the people now calling for Coz's head were probably calling for Norvell's and Wagners head last year

And don't get me wrong I'm not calling for Coz's head or anything I just wonder why it flip flopped so much this year..............

With one shut down corner "Bowman" that would allow Shanle to help Grixby on passing downs more, also allows the LB to blitz more. Coz doesn't have the players he needs like Okl has. With Bowman in that game I think we win it. IMHO...

GBR!!!

I think people are just frustrated because we're only a few key players away from a national championship caliber team. You're right, our defense only gave up 14 points against a very good sooner team. But we lose a whole lot of starters on defense after this season. It sure would be nice if our offense is firing on all cylinders against the tigers.

That's fine...but the way people continue to blast one player is f'ing stupid. The offense didn't play well and let's not forget there are 11 players on the other side of the ball trying to stop NU. Oh yeah, and there good

And we need to get David Ross to commit. Yesterday.
With Armando Murrillo, Shawn Sullivan, Anthony Blue and potentially DeAndre West at corner, we're sitting pretty good. I hope Ross follows through, but it's not a big necessity. I'd rather get another safety (LaTravis Washington) myself.

The other safety that we are working to land is Bernstine. From what I have read this kid is a MUST!

It's likely between NU and Iowa for Bernstine. Washington's SAT scores should be in any day now and hopefully he can officially be N!
