Im nervous going into Washington

I have only listened to the games and have not watched... it seems like we are very inconsistent on both sides of the ball. At #7, we should be owning these teams. for those of you who are there, maybe we are just getting a lot of guys reps??? It seems like our interior defense is maybe a little weaker than I expected, lots of penalties today(away from the play) inconsistent offense play...I am just a little unsettled.

38-17 with five picks isn't a bad outing.

It's never as good as it looks and it's never as bad as it looks.

The defense played their tails off today, if they play next week like this they will win. Offense, as long as they dont lose focus we will be fine.

7 fumbles isnt a good outing. granted we only lost 3 but we left several points on the board. alot and i mean ALOT of things need shored up going to washington. bo will get these things ironed out this week i assure you.

Defense was stout today against a very good O, the last TD was against our third string basically.

The D had 5 picks, 7 sacks, recovered 1 fumble and forced another that Idaho recovered.

The last Idaho drive was against the second team defense (don't know how many of Idaho's 1st team offense was in), so you can take that drive with a grain of salt. I'm most worried about the penalties and turnovers, and again the team just seemed to shut things off at half and coasted to the victory (especially since we were up 31-3). I'm going to believe that once we start facing some real competition, instead of our preseason games, that the team will play good all 4 quarters that evolve to playing great the more games we play.

The one postive to look at is the mistakes being made are mental, errors not physical easier to fix (most of the time). The poor play today was a lack of focus Bo is taking accountablity for it in his presser, that it was the coaches fault. I'm confident that these mistakes will be fixed come game time.

We will get things sorted out. Take away the penalties and we played fairly well. After all we did have 5 picks and over 350 rushing yards.

Unless we play a mistake prone game I think we should be able to get a W. Our secondary had a really good game which was nice to see.

I agree this was a sloppy, sloppy, sloppy game. There are a lot of teaching moments for every offensive player and several on the defense. We'll see if they get it shored up. If not, we will be staring at a new offensive staff next season.

I was very enthused with the defense, however. The last TD came in scrub time and every safety on the roster had a pick. Very encouraging.

Remember guys, before you start jumping, Idaho went to a bowl last year. It's not like they are Multi-Directional Middle State U or anything. They can actually play some football. Two years ago, they beat Washington at Washington.

Things will be shored up, I am not worried.

Take away our two pick sixes and it was 24-17. We better figure some things out this week. Like how to hold onto the ball. And how to not hold onto the jersey.

I agree. Idaho is not really a slouch.

They had the greatest come-back win of the bowl season last year.
