JUST A SIDE NOTE

Back when he was a Duck fan?

Another Celebrity who's worn out their 15 min of fame.

BTW/ What IS he fameous for..Other than "Blunt smoked eyes"?
C'mon, Snoop is arguably THE greatest rapper ever, or at least has maybe the greatest rap album ever in Doggystyle. He's been in the game since honeys was wearing Sassoons for crying out loud!

I'm obviously not going to say that Snoop is a fair weather fan, but he's been a pillar in his business for much, much longer than 15 minutes.
What business? "drug addict gang banger"?

Or rhyming to ripped off beats?

Seems like all the times I've seen him on TV, he was dancing on stage, holding a Microphone, and occasionally yelling "Yeah" or something after some other "performer" rhymed some naughty square dance lyrics.

He has done some good things with the inner city youth of Los Angeles. He sponsors a football, basketball and baseball league.

My guess he is recruiting for the Crips down the road.

I don't really expect older folks to really get it. It's fine.

You don't listen to that kind of music, never have. Honestly, I haven't in years but it doesn't make what I said any less true.

I tried with Tone Loke or whatever his name is.

And I grew up with Disco(sucks).

But I still have trouble seeing any redeeming value of Rap/Hip/Hop as a form of Music.

And I still love discovering new Music even after Layne Stayley or Stevie Ray Vaughan died.

(I'm probably too old to have Chris Cornell be my Favourite Musician..But he's very close).

I don't see future generations borrowing (sampling) from Snoop...But with the decline of Music education in schools..It's possible there will be few actual musicians.

DaveH, as you know I am a blue haired, minus the hair geezer.

I enjoy the beat on some of it still, but I hate the racist, treatment of women and gang crap that it promotes.

RAP = KRAP

1944. That would be 63. I don't normally admit it.

Not very good any more, I did 190 5 times about three weeks ago.

Crashed my mountain bike two years ago and crushed a vertabre.

But I can ride 60 miles on my road bike in under 3 hours. Still can do 150 pushups a day and can still pass the Marine Corps PFT test. Just made it though, but used to do it in 20 minutes before the crash.

I did it this morning. The first time since my knee injury and pancreatic attack in April.

Getting it back.

285, but I almost got 300 up just so I could still bench my weight. <_<

Man..60 miles? at once?

I did 120 miles in a week a couple years ago. 20/day

I ride every day, or darned close to it.

Competing the World Senior games in Utah in October, if my doctor releases me. I am sure he will.

Mountain biking and cycling. Hope to get back to where I was before the injury, but it is not looking good. You hit 60 and things just don't respond like they did when you were a kid.

But I keep trying, I guess that is the Nebraskan in me.
