JUST A SIDE NOTE

I am a fan of Snoops work. He is arguably the best rapper ever.

It is a preference to like rap. I am 37 and have no problem with Snoop.

He is livin. L-I-V-I-N. It may not be what some people would choose but please try to keep an open mind.

I am a HUGE will ferrell fan. When we play them he is the enemy. :box

But I have many of his movies on dvr. (Yes I like stupid movies)

1944. That would be 63. I don't normally admit it.

Not very good any more, I did 190 5 times about three weeks ago.

Crashed my mountain bike two years ago and crushed a vertabre.

But I can ride 60 miles on my road bike in under 3 hours. Still can do 150 pushups a day and can still pass the Marine Corps PFT test. Just made it though, but used to do it in 20 minutes before the crash.

I did it this morning. The first time since my knee injury and pancreatic attack in April.

Getting it back.
Good to see you're in better shape than all of Michigan and Notre Dame combined.

I don’t know about Will Ferrell…SC grad? But Snoop is definitely a fan-wagon. He is from Long Beach. Went to school at one of the perennial high school football powerhouses (Long Beach Poly). I think he played wide-out. Of course he didn’t go to SC so it is just a fan-wagon type thing. Maybe since every one of the star players from Poly ends up at SC, it is like going to a homecoming game for him. And by the way, in a former life (different career) I used to have to go to the part of Long Beach where Poly high is located….What a sh#t hole!

But, I do like some of Snoop’s “songs.”

I'm pretty sure I saw that Will Ferrell went to USC and studied Mass Media, or something like that...something that introduced him to acting.

I might have to check his stuff out..Although most times, I'm disappointed in anything regarding "music" I find out about on BBS boards.

What makes a "Best" rapper ever?

(I want to say color coordination in matching the bows with the paper)

Being able to rhyme with "Orange"?

I actually like a handful of "Rap" songs for their beat, but have trouble differentiating most of the others I've heard (mostly same beat, different words). Would it help if I payed attention to the words more?

Usually, I hate Country music too, but I've enjoyed a Willie Nelson concert or even a Patsy Cline CD because of the amazing recording quality.

Will Ferrel bothered me when he was on SNL because he reminded me of a Gay guy that lived in my dorm and I guess I'm still a little homophobic..But Both my wife and I laughed a couple of times at one of his movies..Can't remember the name..He was in a frat, running nekid...

But he's no Stephen Wright or Larry the Cable Guy.

I used to like stupid movies..Sometimes I wonder if I'd still like "Airplane" if I waited until I was 40 to watch it.

Or Blazing Saddles? or Young Frankenstein?

...Yeah..They're timeless...No mater WHAT my wife says.

C'mon, Snoop is arguably THE greatest rapper ever, or at least has maybe the greatest rap album ever in Doggystyle. He's been in the game since honeys was wearing Sassoons for crying out loud!
I looked up Doggy Style on youtube.

Vfq7JLWU9Rg

I like it!

Although it sounds a lot like my fav. JET song

Sampling?

Whatr Sassoons?

I dont expect you to get the context of that rap.

You either get it or you dont.

I understand that there are many on both sides of that.
