For some reason, Rudy Carpenter wears an arm sock as well, but on the right arm. Maybe he has a tattoo that says "I Heart Sam Keller"

Thanks to all of you who responded. Wasn't sure if he had like a naked hula girl on his arm that danced every thim he flexed or something. Lets keep our fingers crossed for next week huh..

I would think part of the reason for the sock is to protect the tats from the sun....don't know how much color is in them, but the more that you can keep them protected the longer they will last. I read that article too, seems to me like he is trying to "start over" and has a pretty good head on his shoulders. Didn't know alot about his past at ASU, but he seems to be fitting in as a Husker so far.
