Aren't they still going to be called "The Big East"? I thought they were allowed to keep the name. Anyway "The Big East" is still going to be a great basketball league. I agree it isn't B1G basketball, but it isn't far behind. I'm actually excited enough about the new Big East that I will actually go to a few Creighton games....I would say the change in Conferences from the Big East to the Catholic 7 has something to do with it..... The Big 10 will be a much more prestine league than the new Catholic 7 (or whatever it is called.)
Yes, I think you are correct that it is called the Big East.... I forgot that they kept the name. It may be an exciting conference, but outside of G'town, Marquette, .... possibly Creighton... I am not sure they stack up well against the other major conferences night in and night out. I am pumped for Creighton games....can't wait to watch the Hoyas in action.Aren't they still going to be called "The Big East"? I thought they were allowed to keep the name. Sure! And then we could get Steve Pederson to come back and hang a plaque over the door for basketball too. :lol:If all goes well, do we become the Greatest College Basketball fans too?
