Kenya Hunter - New Asst Coach

A HUGE get for us. Should help in recruiting. Especially considering Maryland is B1G country now. :thumbs :

Fantastic hire! John Thompson III's seat might be getting a little hot after a few disappointing NCAA Tournaments for the Hoyas. Kenya might have felt it was the right time to move on before.

I would say the change in Conferences from the Big East to the Catholic 7 has something to do with it..... The Big 10 will be a much more prestine league than the new Catholic 7 (or whatever it is called.)
Aren't they still going to be called "The Big East"? I thought they were allowed to keep the name. Anyway "The Big East" is still going to be a great basketball league. I agree it isn't B1G basketball, but it isn't far behind. I'm actually excited enough about the new Big East that I will actually go to a few Creighton games....

Miles is a dam magician. Georgetown to Nebraska IS NOT a lateral move.

the CBS sports article is a great read about this.. Just goes to show what Timmy is doing and what the administration did as well.

Guess what folks.. Football might be THEE SHOW in the state, but soon enough it wont be the only show.

Yes, I think you are correct that it is called the Big East.... I forgot that they kept the name. It may be an exciting conference, but outside of G'town, Marquette, .... possibly Creighton... I am not sure they stack up well against the other major conferences night in and night out. I am pumped for Creighton games....can't wait to watch the Hoyas in action.

Hunter already mentioned in the LJS article that he was going to see if he can get the 2014 recruits for visits that he was working on while he was in GU. I think we are going to be happy that we ended up saving that one scholarship this year, so we have two for next year.
