LeRoy Alexander Suspension

Not saying Heldey's info. Is wrong...I got this information from a friend that talked with a former player who works with the team. See below:

Took some prohormones that he ended up testing positive for HGH for....some supplements s can have similar chemical makeups to certain steroids and PEDs. Bo ripped into the nutritionist I guess bc he is suppose to have tabs on what all the guys intake. This prohormone wasn't suppose to have an HGH makeup, but it did and it cost Alexander. Kinda sad...how the hell is he suppose to know? Don't take any supplement such aa a prohormone next time...

 
I heard he gave Coach Kaz a dirty sanchez when Kaz was taking a nap in his office. I have this on high authority close to the football office janitors uncles cousin.

Again if he tested positive for hgh it was not a prohormone, it was hgh. I have yet to find any information or evidence that orally ingesting any prohormone can lead to a positive on a drug test for hgh.

Many people have tested positive for anabolic steroids while taking prohormones but not hgh

I confirm. It's what i heard too.

Q, the penalty is sitting out the season. Imposed by the staff. Like Hedley said, Bo got out in front of this before NCAA involvement and nipped it in the a$$ before it became a story.

 
The University has their own drug testing protocol and penalties separate from the NCAA. Why would he impose a one-year suspension for a failed UNL test unless this was a repeat offense?

O tolerance. Sends a message. You know how Bo is. Some things just piss him off to no end. Something like this is one of them. You can bet your a$$ a 2nd offense and he's gone for good.

Plus, the NCAA has a rep of laying off when you self report things and get it handled. Like our extra text books bs. That was self reported. The thing with Todd Gurley? Nothings gonna come of that because Georgia handled it. Sat him down. Dealt with it. Now Winston on the other hand, if they find something there, Florida St's gonna get the hammer. That was the issue at Ohio St. It wasnt what they did. But rather, that Tressel lied and they played them guys in the bowl game anyway.

 
I still appreciate the fact that his mother stood behind the decision and didn't let him transfer down a level to stay eligible. That is integrity.

 
Nebraska was recently on NCAA probation for academic fraud. That probation ended January 31st of this year (2014) but the repeat-offender window is in effect for five years after that date after 2/1/2012 when the probation started, meaning if we're busted with something else before 2/1/2017, the penalties could be much more harsh under the "repeat offender" rule. So it's in Nebraska's best interests to discover any infractions on their own and impose stiff penalties on themselves or the "offending athlete(s)" before the NCAA moves in.

How do you know this? Is it because you're from a naturally strong family?

Oddly enough some people have different experiences in life that lend them information on certain subjects that others may not happen to know. Crazy I know

And you definitely pose a point per our discussion. He called the prohormone, yellow jackets? Or black jackets? An ephedrine supplement holds or use to hold the name Yellow Jackets...
