Carl wants Fonzie to be a leader and teach. He was a follower last year to DeJon and Prince and Eric, so now it's his turn.

 
Hasn't looked film on the Big Ten WRs, but he knows a couple of names. He's looking forward to the Big Ten. He's very excited to go against a new group and see how good they are.

 
Austin Cassidy will be a huge part of things. He's a leader and tells them what's going wrong.

Courtney Osborne makes sure everyone is on the same page.

These two are vocal leaders.

 
They want to show everyone that they could have played better against Washington. He felt really bad afterwards because he knew they could have won. They were mad at people for putting them against Washington, and people's mind wasn't in that game.

How's the deprogramming going?

Brandon says it's going OK. It's not as hard, he's simplifying so they can play faster. Learning something new is always hard, but it's good.

 
I have to laugh at Dennard's last comment about other stadiums and that he hasn't looked at the schedule.

As a fan I knew that game was an away game and have the schedule memorized. haha

edit: fixed it because that didn't make much sense.

I have a good feeling about the offense, and what Beck can bring to the table. If the Washington game pissed them off so much, they better stomp a freakin' mud hole in that team when they come to Lincoln.

 
Beck is more about fun and attacking than Watson, not as structured. Beck has ruled but it's more stress free.

 
Martinez has come back good. He did good on the shuttle yesterday, and he seems OK. Marty is one of the guys to break them down, he's in the middle of the huddle saying Team On Three, and he didn't do that last year.

 
They're bonding more as a core than they did last year. Can't say much more than that.

Last year they were just running plays and they didn't know why. They just did what they were told. Now it's more laid back and they understand more what they're doing.

Hummm, I'm a little surprised about this, I thought Sanders was one of the best in the nation, at technique. When I heard Raymond was a big techniques guy, it struck me as promising because he was at least in a similar mold. Contrasting to a different kind of promise hearing about Garrison, who being about technique is in contrast to Cotton.

Oh, me too. I just wanted to note that this is a big strike against that "We should line it up and just take what we want on offense" camp.

 
Role as a leader - He was a leader last year, too. Leading by example last year, this year he has to be vocal, too. Willing to take that challenge because he feels like he is a leader.

 
The whole WR corps is pushing him, but he's also his own biggest critic. He doesn't want those guys who follow him to see him fail.
