Mack Brown is gonzo....

I don't understand what incentive there is for Mack Brown to step down. He has a huge buyout. Wouldn't he forego that if he quit?
i always assumed the work out the resignation to protect the buyout. just a courtesy to avoid having to 'fire' someone. but that is only an assumption.

Damn I don't want to see Texas built up to a powerhouse. Btw there Saban thread has over 4,500 posts. I doutbt a huskerboard thread has even reached 2,000.

 
What I'm really hoping for now is the Saban-to-Texas talk reaching an all time fervor only to have the rug yanked right out from under the feet of UT fans when they find out Mack is actually not leaving but receives a 20 year extension.

 
Supposedly Saben hasn't singed the contract extension that has been on his desk since Friday. That's per ESPN.
