man I wish we could play MU again

Mel,

allthough I though NU played well against TT. I bet if you played that game 10 more times it would not be that close again. they didnt show up for that game. They overlooked you and got punched in the mouth. GOOD for Nu for not rolling over and giving them a hell of a fight. But if you watch that game again, and watch other TT games, you will quickly see they played like crap

a couple things here. first of all tech is clearly a superior team to you guys. secondly its not like you guys are a lock to play well if we played again either. I know there is no way NU could play any worse.

#1. I never said we were better than tech.

#2. I beg to differ. You played worse against OU

MU returns an awful lot. And the all finesse thing is BS. Just because they take the ball from the shotgun and throw doesnt mean they dont smack you around. I saw plenty of your LB's and DB's on their rear ends during our game
No, it's not BS. Why do you think Mizzou gets throttled every time they play a team that is faster and more physical than they are? When an opposing defense can f#*k up the timing of the offense, Chase goes into the fetal position and starts blaming his linemen.

Name the times that has happened. Against OU and Texas?? All that proves is their O and D lines are better than both of MU's. they got beat by better teams. What is the shame in that. If you are all finesse then a lesser team can punch you in the mouth and take the victory. That has NOT happened. Besides if Mu is finesse what does that make NU since they slapped them all over the field. Like I said, MU ran over, by and around NU.

I would like to hear your answer since I'm sure you think they can beat MU now. ANd what qualifys as finesse in your eyes. The spread. Cause you run it. And NU cant run a power offense. But I wouldn't call your team soft....

Jeez dude, take a deep breath. Nobody has even come close to making that argument. The whole reason this thread got started was because "MU ran over, by, and around NU." Congratulations. For the first time in your lifespan, Missouri is objectively better than Nebraska in every aspect of the game. It's not even debatable. You guys are coming up on a huge rivalry game and an appearance in the Big XII Championship Game. And you've just spent a good portion of your afternoon arguing with us about whether or not Nebraska has improved since early October.

Oh, and way to beat Baylor by 3 points. I guess even those powerful, defensive minded teams struggle sometimes. Give me a break.

If we're basing next year's results on returning starters you all can just go on home now...I'm the freakin champion of all of college football!

One thing that I always wonder about....over here I always hear people saying "Wait till next year...we have a lot of starters coming back." and I always have to think, if the starters we have coming back were starters for a team that sucked wouldn't that indicate that next year, with the same starters coming back, the results will, concurrently, suck also?

ISU will have 9 or 11 starters coming back on offense and will, therefore, suck approximately 17% less than this year. Bank it!

lol

Cy you never let me know if you were working the game saturday :(
Yep...I was over on your side. I was the huge, hulking fellow assigned to the chains...the real handsome one! I had to give my yard marker up to some old fat guy....I think he was a team donor or something. After watching him huff and puff his way around the sideline, he looked more like he was WAITING for a donor... <_< That's okay though...still the best seat in the house.

Right after the game, took off to watch the BB game. ISU may not know how to play sports but they do a pretty good job of scheduling them...

Oh, I'm sure that game winning field goal by Wolfert with under 3 minutes left isn't indicative of the true a$$ whooping that Missouri put on Baylor. Getting outscored 14-0 in the 3rd quarter was obviously part of their game plan.
