There's a rule about it-- what can you do? DB (appropriate initials) doesn't have to say anything about the officiating because the rule doesn't make allowances for "Unless true..." By now, if these players don't understand that your "friends" aren't your friends and some of them are just looking to rat you out just for the sake of doing it, they need to learn at some point.
So, I guess the take-home lesson from all of this is don't post stuff on facebook that you wouldn't say on, say, TV or in front of a crowded lecture hall with press there. You wouldn't staple that picture of you topless and drunk to your resume or put it on your desk at work? Don't put it on facebook.
Yeesh. How many stories do we have to hear about people getting fired or not hired over that type of crap? I think that those particular moves by employers are complete and total BS, but being a member of a team in a (crappy) conference carries with it certain restrictions because of the participants' high profile. It might be crap, but it is what it is.
Oh, and I sure hope that DB scours every other big 12 player's facebook page now... :moreinteresting :moreinteresting
