If the narrative was about advanced scouting that's legit, but even that rule is subject to interpretation. It seems like Stallions was on the sideline for MSU vs CMU, which is absolutely a violation. I am not sure why CMU still can't prove he was there. Paying scouts is the other issue. If they were not paid would it be legal? If they are Joe Schmo off the street with an iPhone are they a scout? I am sure it won't matter.

But it's not hypocritical if they are upset over illegal activity and not upset over legal activity. 

But you keep trying to conflate the two to make yourself feel better.

Stallions? He'll yes he would lie. That dude is a walking red flag. He never should have been hired, but he was probably really efficient at stealing signs. He was essentially a Michigan groupie since he was kid. The dude wrote a manifesto on how he was going to take over Michigan football. He is all kinds of crazy like the former coach.

I feel fine actually. National championship, and signal stealing was far from the reason they won. Yes, the coaches and Big 10 are being disingenuous with how big of a deal this was. I guess they were all good with suspending Harbaugh for the final four games and agreed it was over at that point.

The only thing I am curious about was whether the NCAA found out if any coaches knew how Stalions was doing it. Partridge was fired for coaching kids on how to respond to the NCAA. Moore deleted texts which were later recovered. What did they say? I bet he gets in more trouble for deleting them than what is in the content, but we are about to see, unless nothing gets leaked/published while Michigan takes their 90 days to respond.

Edit: my favorite take so far from the Netflix doc. I do not have Netflix. 

Detroit News columnist Bob Wojnowski posted: “No major revelations in Connor Stalions Netflix doc. He was hired and praised because he was good at deciphering signals, which is legal. How he got the signs, and who knew, are still the questions. I’m sure we’ll know more by 2027 at the latest.”

Really, Lebron is EP?  That says a lot when presenting a story to an audience.

1. Executive Producers have a significant amount of input on a story they work on.  Top-level responsibility for important things like, developing concepts, story lines, narratives, while also working with directors, writers, and creators to brainstorm ideas that will captivate audiences.  The story will align with Executive Producer's ideas.

2. Lebron James is a huge Ohio State fan.  He is from Ohio and has referred to Michigan as "that team up North" and has taken several shots at Michigan.

So, we all know how the Untold story will go with a very biased angle and with information spoken or with held.

How on earth can Stallions or anyone not recall if they were at CMU game when asked if they were there or not?  That is a simple question.  And it wasn't that long ago.  That's ridiculous.

Impermissible means not allowed or permitted, including rules and laws.

This is bad and can mean only one thing:

the NCAA will now suspend the head coach of Oklahoma 3 games, and the Big Ten will also suspend the head coach of Oklahoma an additional 4 games, including the season final against THE Ohio State University.   Even if they are not scheduled.  

Punishments will be handed out and suspensions will be served.

Unless Ohio State loses to Oklahoma.  If that happens, then the case will remain OPEN for more investigating and more punishment.  ;)

Cannot wait to see how the NCAA handles this, and how the Big 12 dishes out punishments in addition.

You've spent a bunch of posts on here showing that this isn't about stealing signs, so this is a lot of words that don't apply by your own logic.

If it didn't help, why did Michigan put so much time and resources into doing it then covering it up?

 
I haven't seen it yet but would like to.  Most reviews say that whatever side of the fence you were on, you pretty much stay on it.  Even though it is driven to get you upset with UM, Harbaugh and Stallions.

Pat McAfee talks about the Documentary it and shows some interesting clips of Stallions and how he got started with learning signs filming himself.  It's on his YouTube channel.  It's really incredible.

I agree with Pat, that Connor Stallions is a big time UM homer nut, that he's crazy into signals and signs, but also fascinating at the same time.

They did?? What resources did Michigan put in to covering it up exactly? It's not like Stallions tried to cover his tracks very well. If Michigan was trying to cover its tracks they didn't spend enough time or resources. Michigan didn't even fight it. They rolled like a whipped puppy a took a head coach 4 game suspension.  :D  The only two things I can think of are Moore deleting texts...which the NCAA has in its possession now... and Partridge supposedly coaching players on how to deal with the investigation. That got him fired, but I can't be sure that was it. That is what was theorized at the tine. He is supposedly going to sue for wrongful termination, but I haven't heard anything substantial to that rumor. 

That was totally Stallions at the CMU game, BTW. I suspect CMU doesn't "know who it was", because they let it happen, but that is just a theory.

Edit: Who are you pulling fir this weekend, Michigan or Texas?
