Migrating the site to Xenforo

You have to click the datetime link for the newest post you haven't read.

Weird. Takes me to the first post I haven't read.

It takes me to the last post in the thread…which is what the date time link represents, yes?

That isn’t what I want. There used to be the red dot that told me there were new posts and would take me to the ‘oldest’ of the new posts so I could pick up the thread where I left off. Where is that? Unless we are talking about different things the datetime link is not that.

I notice that there's no multi-quote. Other Xenforo boards I've been on have it, so I assume it's an option that needs to be enabled.

Better yet, use a third-party host, like IMGUR. If Xenforo is like IP Board, people will quickly fill up their allotment and start complaining that they can't post pictures anymore.

I don't think Xenforo uses a quota for that stuff, at least I haven't seen it on others I've been on.

Just clicking on the thread title should take you to your first unread message in that thread. But all the read/unread tracking has been reset, so right now it thinks you haven't read any posts in any threads, so it'll just take you to the first post in the thread. Try again on your next visit and see if it works for threads you've visited since the migration.

Just clicking on the thread title should take you to your first unread message in that thread. But all the read/unread tracking has been reset, so right now it thinks you haven't read any posts in any threads, so it'll just take you to the first post in the thread. Try again on your next visit and see if it works for threads you've visited since the migration.

You are correct. Fist time in any thread goes to the last post. After that it's the last unread post.

It is probably lame posts, from what I understand Xenforo uses AI to "read" all the posts and determine if the post is super lame or not. Once it determines that the post is lame, the post is not posted. The poster is also flagged by AI as a lame poster.

That poster will never actually KNOW they are a lame poster, they will just keep informing you that their lame posts are not showing up. Total nerds, right?

@Mavric it appears some of my posts are not posting? I posted one in here trying to explain why some are not getting posted but now I don't see it. It was post 82.
