Nebraska’s Oct. 4 home game against sixth-ranked Missouri will kick off at 8 p.m. CDT and will be shown nationally on ESPN, the network and the Big 12 announced Monday.
The telecast marks the second straight year the Huskers and Tigers have met in an evening game, televised by ESPN. The Tigers defeated Nebraska 41-6 in Columbia, Mo., last season in a game that also kicked off after 8 p.m.
Nebraska hosts Virginia Tech this weekend in a prime-time contest televised by ABC, beginning at 7 p.m. Missouri will enter Lincoln with a 4-0 record. The Tigers are off this weekend after defeating Buffalo, 42-21, on Saturday in Columbia to complete their non-conference schedule.
Nebraska owns a 26-3 record in night games at Memorial Stadium, including victories this season over Western Michigan and New Mexico State.
