Missouri game time 8:00 p.m.

Two primetime slots in a row...I really hope Nebraska brings some sort of game to each, can't take this primetime thrashings anymore....

From journalstar.com:

Nebraska’s Oct. 4 home game against sixth-ranked Missouri will kick off at 8 p.m. CDT and will be shown nationally on ESPN, the network and the Big 12 announced Monday.

The telecast marks the second straight year the Huskers and Tigers have met in an evening game, televised by ESPN. The Tigers defeated Nebraska 41-6 in Columbia, Mo., last season in a game that also kicked off after 8 p.m.

Nebraska hosts Virginia Tech this weekend in a prime-time contest televised by ABC, beginning at 7 p.m. Missouri will enter Lincoln with a 4-0 record. The Tigers are off this weekend after defeating Buffalo, 42-21, on Saturday in Columbia to complete their non-conference schedule.

Nebraska owns a 26-3 record in night games at Memorial Stadium, including victories this season over Western Michigan and New Mexico State.

Great to hear. We really need to step up for this game. Not only because it's in primetime and we don't need lose badly like last year but it's homecoming. Go Big Red!!

Can't wait for this game!

I remember back in 04 when the Huskers tore misery apart...same in 06!

Different teams back then, but proof that on any given day, the team that wants it the most can come up with a "W!"

I think a big win vs. Va Tech will give the SKERS the fuel and confidence they need to stand up to this Mizzou team.

GO BIG RED!

wow!..rarely do espn televise big 12 games especially at night, normally they have their heads up the SEC or the ACC's butt...must say i'm excited though :clap :clap :horns2

This is great news!! I was really hoping for a night game! Memorial Stadium is going to be rockin! 8 pm is past all the grayhair's bedtime!
