MUELLER INJURY: Nebraska sophomore Josh Mueller, a tight end from Columbus, injured his knee in Tuesday’s practice and sat out Thursday. But he hasn’t been ruled out of next week’s Alamo Bowl against Michigan. “It’d be disappointing if he missed the game, because we’re counting on him,” Callahan said. “We’re keeping our fingers crossed. We’ll see how he responds to a couple of days off.” Nebraska (7-4) leaves at 10 a.m. today via charter plane for San Antonio. The Huskers won’t practice today, resuming drills Saturday.
