Huskers may be the worst rebounding team in the country.  Did anyone hear if Eduardo Andre was injured?  He may not help much on offense, but at least he can get rebounds and he didn't play.

If the pick & roll doesn't work, they are lost on offense.  Western Illinois covered the roll and didn't come off shooters so Verge just tried to do everything himself.

If both Verge & Trey are off the floor, the entire offense comes to a stop.  I think that was something we all saw in the Colorado exhibition.

Verge is a big time player but the issues with him, even since HS, was that he will play how he wants to play.  I really think that Fred is the type of coach that can get him to really buy in but maybe Verge just needs that badass/hardass type coach instead.

Maybe, I am not sure.  Fred puts more stock into offense than defense, which is fine.  But you better make sure you are hitting a high % of your shots.

Bryce and Verge looked like they wanted to get theirs, so they could stuff the stat sheet for an NBA look. They'll probably be "on" enough to win us 10-15 games. Then they'll leave, and we will look for the next two transfers that want a green light for 20+ shot attempts.
