This is beyond true.
if the last 35 minutes of this one when Iowa switched to the zone wasn’t enough base for ones eyes, just pop an any tape Tim’s whole tenure when the opponent went zone.
Been saying it for years, full to 3/4 court pressure back into a zone and you’ll get yourself a double digit win against NU

His teams always struggle when the key guy is cold. The have no back up plan.
They struggle rebounding. He can’t recruit a big guy.

3 things I can count during a time Miles coached game at Neb. Long scoring droughts, bad play calling and getting out coached when it matters.

The lack of ability to attack a zone properly (Miles lack of coaching) will force us to shoot late in the shot clock either a long two or a three. Lack of hustle on close outs, not boxing out (all coachable skills) lead to 2nd chance points by opponents. If Tim is coaching those things and the players refuse to do them then they need to sit on the bench.

It’s not an indictment against the overall 3 defense, it’s a continued trend that an opponents best 3 shooter has been left open far too often for years.
Its called a pregame scouting report. You know where every coach says DO NOT LEAVE THIS SHOOTER TO DOUBLE OR HELP NO MATTER WHAT!!!!
