I remember pausing it and looking to see what NU did and I saw what I saw.

Field position was skewed all game.

I don't think that can be attributed to blocking schemes. They were punting multiple times from midfield. That is going to skew starting field position a little.

That's true, but field position got skewed from that shank off the first punt that went, what 15 yards? Took awhile to change it from there. D did a good job on a bunch of series keeping UGA in check.

To me, it just seems like there is horrific blocking downfield on most punts. That was a constant throughout the year.

Three of those are easy punts that make it very difficult to set up any kind of return and also skew starting field position numbers. That doesn't excuse our own punting woes, but our starting field position wasn't due to punt return blocking schemes.

I do remember seeing no one blocking once (inexcusable), but remember seeing good blocking one or two other times.

I'd only contest the one from the 36 but it was a problem the whole year, is my point. But I'm probably picking nits too

I was impressed that no one seemed to panic. Throughout the last 3 years or so I've felt that whenever we experience a momentum switch everyone from the coaching staff to the players seemed to panic. Yesterday everyone looked very composed and seemed to stay loose, even when Georgia started to make a comeback in the 4th.

Lots of good things to take away from that game.

So I guess ESPN is saying Gregory is good enough to play for Kentucky, Tenn, Florida, Vandy? No way.

I was impressed with the Huskers D yesterday. Their offense needs some more firepower. The game would have been a little different if Nebraska didn't drop 3 or so easy passes including one in the endzone. The dropped shovel/shuttle pass in the 4th would have easily resulted in a first down and maybe Neb would have sealed the game on that drive.
