I like both. But i will say that when your in the mood, there is not much better than a piled high deep dish.

NY. Why? Because it's called pizza pie, not pizza cake.
If you want a pie then you should have voted for Chicago style. Chicago pizza most resembles a true pie, while New York pizza resembles a crepe. ;)
Chicago {I can't call it pizza} whatever is a culinary abortion. They cant even put it in the right sequence. New York style IS pizza, it's been that way since pizza was developed.

I may not be a chef, but I can make a Chicago-style pizza that'll change your mind, I guarantee. I'll post the recipe in the recipe forum.

My friend I have tried all sorts of Chicago's so called pizza, it's just not for me. I like my crust cracker thin, my sauce with fresh garlic and herbs, and whole milk and Buffalo mozzarella cheese, and some sliced up meatballs and onions. IMO you can't have a better pie than that.

Well, you're gonna like what you like, and there's no changing your mind I guess. I absolutely love that recipe I just posted. In fact, I just finished off the last of the leftovers for lunch. Très fantastique!

I voted for New York, but like someone else said, the thinner and crunchier the crust, the better. I'm not much of a bread guy as it is

Got one of my favorite slices today. It is called Contadini. It has a light layer of tomato sauce, fresh buffalo mozzarella cheese, very thin sliced potatoes, prosciutto, and a mix of fresh herbs. It is out of this world.

I love New York.

Chicago-style, no question. I just made some utterly fantastic deep-dish pizza Friday night. Best pizza ever. Seriously.
I suppose I misspoke here. I prefer Chicago style of the two, but the reality is that I like both. I grill a mean New York style pizza, too. So it's not like I just do one or the other.

I'm an equal opportunity pizza lover.

Perhaps knowing that Chicago style deep dish *pizza was invented by a FORMER TEXAS FOOTBALL PLAYER will change you naysayer's minds?

Modern Pizza was invented in Naples in the 1700s. Deep Dish pizza was invented by Rudy Malnati.
