I mean .... the Donkeys looked like Donkey poo in Weeks 1 & 2.

But what were the pre-season odds on, after Week 3, the Broncos having a better record than the Bengals and the same record as the Dolphins, Ravens, Cowboys and 49ers?

I saw a lot of quick decisions, good passes and the ball leaving his hand quickly from Nix.  And some good moves scrambling.

I believe that is a good starting point after a few games in the league.

Now if he can repeat that 2 or 3 times in the next 4 games, you definitely have something growing and maturing at QB.   The more he learns this league and shows some returns on success, the more exciting it will become.

Rookie quarterbacks.... if you are not intimidated and don't lose confidence, plus you learn mistakes OTJ..... you will figure it out soon and become good to great.

Wins or losses, I see Caleb and Nix growing week to week.  It will be a patience thing during their first year.

It's a weird NFL so far. 

Another 10 games and the expected powerhouses may have righted themselves. Or maybe this is the window some under the radar teams needed.

But some teams are looking at their new $150 million holdouts being outplayed by much cheaper players. There's gotta be some off-season rethinking about the team salary caps that prevent overall quality and depth. Especially if you are just one injury away from tanking.

 
That's a huge bummer for the NFL and the 49ers.   But, SF still has Brock Purdy and apparently that's all they need.   ;)

Bears beat LA Rams.  Back to .500 (no words are said more often by a Bears fan over the last 35 years).

Caleb looked a bit more comfortable, as if he is understanding how the NFL plays big boy football (no offense to the former Pac 12).

When asked, he mentioned several times the communication was better during the week of practice with the coaches.  Caleb told them to stick with the flow when it works (if it's passing - stick with it - don't switch it up - and the same with running the ball).  And that's how they won their scoring drives.  Because one drive they kept running over and over, and sprinkled in a pass.  Then another drive it was passing over and over, and sprinkled in a run.

 
Bears Aussie Aussie Aussie punter Tory Taylor punted the s#!t out of the ball.  He kept flipping the field and putting the Rams in terrible field position to start drives.  One punt went from the 15 to the 15 - in air - with hang time.  2 punts were downed inside the 10 yard line, including the final kick that made the Rams having to go more than 90 yards to tie the game with 1:00 left.  So it helped seal the deal.

Bears fans, myself included, are loving this guy.  :horns2

 
Jayden Daniels is so smooth and quick, he is playing out of his mind.  So happy for him.

Bo Nix - not too shabby

Broncos 3-2 with 2 road wins

Just went 19-27 206 yards 2 TDs and 0 Int (sacked 3-26 though)

and 3 total Touchdowns (1 rushing)

Caleb Williams - also improving

Bears 3-2 and also on a 2 game win streak

Just went 20-29 304 yards 2 TDs and 0 Int (sacked 1-8)

5 rushes 34 yards

It's still a Jayden Daniels world RN, but tip your cap to Bo and Caleb.  They seem to be getting a bit better each week with a bit more confidence and experience.  It is really nice to see.
