That’s kinda the point. Neither receiver did in either play and one was a catch and one wasn’t, so section (c) doesn’t have much teeth it seems when deciding a catch or not

I mean, posting something as evidence then saying it doesn't really matter doesn't make your case sound all that strong.

There is a lot of argument on it. That's why it's so subjective. And that's why "similar" doesn't really cut it. Because a small change in circumstances is enough to tip it one way or the other.
