Being around the Cowboys, I would never have kept or paid Cee Dee Lamb (WR are replaceable) or Dak Prescott (you had your shots). But I would have kept and paid Micah.
CD lamb is real good, but not worth $1 million dollars plus, per game (20 million per season). And he held out for that and eventually Jerrah paid him.
Last year CD didn't play the final 2 games, and he finished the season 1100 yards and 6 touchdowns. Like, is that production not replaceable? Methinks is it, easily.
Dak Prescott - signed on for 60 million a year, 3.5 million dollars per game.... He has missed 14 reg season games in the past few seasons, and he kinda sucks in the playoffs.
Micah was offered 150 million but it wasn't enough for his agent and him. His agent actually told Jerry Jones to "stick it up your a$$". That was Jerry telling the story to us so you know it was true and not from anyone else.
No wonder Jerrah is tired, tired, tired of giving 2 or 3 players 500 million dollars and not seeing playoff wins or super bowl games.
Even if he is worth billions, it's not good business to just pay players max contracts and then seeing them play like crap.
