Plus "those most bruised/in need of rest" will also be sitting out for LAC. They're going on the road regardless in the wild card, so they're choosing to sit guys with not much to play for here. Hopefully Denver can win this one more comfortably than last week at KC.

Having a really good start to his career, very happy for him. Knew he was a good fit.

Side note:
Dan Marino's first 2 years - started 25 games, went 21-4, threw 68 touchdowns, but only 7100 yards.
That was in 1983 & 1984.

Marino also threw 5000 yards in his 2nd year - an NFL record - and the frist time it had ever been done - and no other QB threw 5000 yards in a season until 2008 (Drew Brees).

Marino threw 48 TDs in his 2nd year, another NFL record, and was the first QB ever to throw 40 TDs in a season. The 48 TDS stood until 2004.

I like Nix a lot. I love Marino though lol

No doubt that a lot of records (not just football) are the results of expanded seasons and rules that are decidedly offense-friendly.
