NU to unveil $150 million football facility plan Friday

I really wish they would post more pictures of the Osborne Legacy Complex.

I am interested to see if the trophies are moving to the lobby over there?

Does anyone know if they're still eventually planning to get those fancy chairs for the lockers or if they were permanently scrapped in favor of the ikea stools?

I hope so and I hope they add more decor to the place. From what I saw last year the facility had a lot of blank white or black walls.

This facility is nothing but amazing.  I never knew how big, all encompassing, and beautiful this facility is.

I cannot imagine a better place to be for top notch recruits.

Am I the only one who thinks they could do much better in the interior design area? And I’m talking campus wide, not just in this football facility. IMO, all the plain, post-modern, Red Ns absolutely everywhere you look gets quite boring. I mean things are nice and new and clean but dang, get some style and change it up a bit. It all just looks too plastic. IDK, maybe it looks better in person 🤷‍♂️

I'm biased because I'm into woodworking, but I really did much prefer our old locker room with the wooden lockers. It had a very classy look.

Each locker in the old locker room was handmade out of solid maple wood. https://huskers.com/news/2006/08/31/nebraska-football-locker-room

I understand the new ones from a functionality standpoint, and if the current players like them then that's all that matters. With the amount of money the university is getting now from the Big Ten, maybe someday when they decide to to update the locker room again they can go back to classy maple lockers.

As I think I understand the woman’s volleyball team is using the old locker room now

I'm assuming you're meaning that the old wood lockers were moved to the VB locker room at the Devany.

The way this is worded, makes it sound like they have a locker room at the football complex.

OR....is it that they use that locker room just for when they are using the weight room and other parts of that facility?
