O-Line could be shuffled

LINCOLN - Nebraska likes to boast about its versatility on the offensive line and the number of players it can switch in and out.

If things continue the way they've gone the past three games, coaches may put more emphasis on the word "switch."

if a switch is needed then NU has to make it happen. If Mann is ready to play the whole game then move Byford to guard. I would really hate to see a redshirt burned this late in the season. If you have the opportunity to move a better player over got to do that.

They definately need to figure something out so Zac gets some more time to make his reads. I don't think getting the running game going will be a problem come Saturday..........

If we get the running game going and sustain it we should be able to make them play catch up. I am not real worried of their running game.

they have given up a lot of rushing yards this year. i hope that the line that starts today makes holes that i could run through. if they do that then BJax, Lucky, Glenn, and Wilson would get 100 yards apiece.

is today the game that NU uses ball control offense and run, run, run?

That's what I would probably do only because it's going to come down to clock management, less mistakes, and they are so weak on the run that we have to exploit that part of their defense. On the other hand if they get to running on us you know there is a problem!!!! <_<

I have a gut feeling that we will own them today, The team does not want to keep repeating these 3 losses in a row, it is home comming, and the drivers seat to KC is on the line.

Plus it helped that I sent them all e-mails promising pain if they lost because I would have to sell my Big 12 Champ. tickets and that would really piss me off!!!! Except Carriker I left him off of the list!!!!

Murtha played quite a bit today. Hickman played a ton. I didn't see Huff out there at all. I recall Callahan talking about the guard play needing to be upgraded from last weekend. Perhaps he was squarely talking about Huff.

Murtha had some big blocks today...I still think he can be one of best of the best lineman at this school. I know it is all potential, but IMO, this kid is good.

I forgot who the lineman was, but someone had a heck of a block downfield on Nunn's end around play before the touchdown pass from Purify.
