That's just a snarky comment by Spurrier. Off the cuff or off the record, it's cool. Just not in print though.

Ewers was a 5 star QB who reclassified (skipped his SR yr) and went to tOSU for one year, then to Texas.

His first 2 years at UT was in the Big 12 conference. Then last year in the SEC.

I hate "shock takes" like this because no team would replace a 2 year starter that's going into his SR year - with a kid going into his sophomore season. (Last year)

But I do get his point, sort of. I guess.
