They have asked practically every coach about the Ohio State situation in some form. Being a Ohio State alum, you know that question is coming. Im pretty sure Bo already has a quick answer to that question.

 
Hoke thinks Nebraska is "tremendous" for the Big Ten. Everyone says this, talks about our tradition. Nice, bland things.

He'll say something blandly nice about Tressel, and if they press him, he'll say, "I don't know anything about that." Standard Bo-ism.

Kids are excited for the challenge. Honor to be a part of the conference and the traditions and the tremendous institutions. Great to be here. Looking forward to the season.

 
Progress of Martinez over the summer and depth at QB.

Feel really good about where Taylor is. Great offseason. Tremendous spring. Phenomenal Summer. More engaged as a leader. Taken it upon himself to grow in that area. Holding himself and teammates accountable. Poised to have a great year. Feels good about where they are. Happy that Carnes stepped up in the Spring. Backed Cody on his decision to leave.

We have Brion, Kellogg and Bubba, but you all know he's a baseball kid. See how that all plays out with Bubba. Feel good about where depth is but cannot have too many. Mentions Tyson Broekmeier as a nice addition.

 
How do you prepare with zero familiarity with all of these new teams?

We prepare like we do any other time. Put more time in this year. Greater challenge, but at the end of the day Bo feels great about their preparation. Feels good about where they are. They've got a lot accomplished in the off season.

 
How will style of play translate?

Bo doesn't know if it's about style of play. He feels we can line up against anyone in the country. You adjust to who you play week to week, but the kids we recruit can fit into any conference. Football is football and you win with basics and fundamentals. Bo understands that in this conference they have quality athletes and coaching.
