It is just like everything else these days. The vast majority of the public will go along with it to show support of the team and defense. But because there is a extremely VOCAL MINORITY that is so blinded by being "right" that they will not debate or discuss one way or the other it has to be shut down right away. Otherwise there might be an open discussion and possibily it happens or maybe it doesn't. But you cannot argue with ignorance.
Seriously, if we're going to copy anyone, I suggest
WMU alumnus here:A Black Out against a team with black in the jerseys? Thats ahhhh smart?
:yeahDefine irony:
Bo Pelini won't even award blackshirts.
Small minded fools want to wear blackshirts in support of something that might not happen for the first game.......Interesting......
Listen, we as NU fans should feel proud that we have a strong tradition that is beyond any current student or alumni. Frankly, after the last few years, its all we have left. The minute we start latching on to trends that OTHER SCHOOLS HAVE DONE, we are officially dead. We will have nothing original left. We are the sea of red.
Well, you stole playing that ridiculous Sirius song for the tunnel walk, right? :sarcasmThe minute we start latching on to trends that OTHER SCHOOLS HAVE DONE, we are officially dead.
You really shouldn't accuse others of trolling when that's exactly what you're doing with that post. Hypocrisy is one of the worst traits a person can have. You're right, the BlkOut being pushed by the Athletic department is completely asinine and stupid same with TO since he originally proposed it in the student ticket email sent out last March. I wish TO would grow up and starting thinking like the only real husker fans, (The Trolls on this board) :sarcasm
