Is it just me, but do our DB's look a lot less physical? They aren't jamming the receivers at all or playing in their face. They're just letting them run loose.

Run defense has really improved. But the pass defense really needs work. Can't tell if its experience or coaching, but it needs work.

Is it just me, or does he seem more accurate throwing to the middle of the field? Seems he's pretty solid throwing those crossing patterns, but the quick outs or slants tend to be less accurate.

I think you are onto something. Those outs are some of the toughest throws to make.

I think the vertical throws that stretch the field are a little different. They're lofted up there, as opposed to those quickslants where the receiver is moving very quickly across the field, and you have to hit them right in stride on a short, quick throw.
