Then why is Vedral listed 2nd on the depth chart? And why did he play over Bunch 2 weeks ago? 

I think coaches wanted to give him a chance because he knows the system and he just became elgible. I'd say running Vedral is slightly better, Bunch is a fairly better thrower and Vedral knows the system much better than Bunch. That is where Bunch really struggled.

This is 2 weeks in a row the announcers have erroneously stated the offense is getting on a roll now or that it's taken some time and then talk about yards.

The yards were never a problem except in 1 game. It was penalties and turnovers.

We can also probably conclude that the Luke Gifford and Jojo Domann-type of players (lean, converted safeties) shouldn't be everydown OLBs in this defense.

D played ok second half till garbage time though. Most damage was done first half.

Maybe Chinander doesn't care about defense when up by 3+ scores, but he should. This isn't Iowa.
