Ohio State Refereeing Lowlights

I'm surprised they addressed any of it. The spot on Emmett Johnson's run was absurd. There was no excuse for getting that call wrong by eight feet.

Thankfully they made up for it with a terrible OPI call seconds later.

Neb has played multiple B1G seasons without getting a holding call. An absurd statistical outlier not replicated by any other program or conference, even ones that have been worse.

A conference commissioner once openly talked about kicking Neb out of the B1G.

B1G admitting they’ve made multiple egregious officiating errors against Neb in 2024.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck.

It is a disgrace the B1G doesn't have full time refs and can't be held accountable for bad calls during the game.

I don't know how people gamble on games when you have refs like this in charge.

These guys get paid very well at this level.  I realize it is a "part time" job for them but in 12-14 weeks they make as much or more than most career people do in a year.  No excuse for how bad it has been imo.

lol,

I've been saying it for years. The B1G schools do not want Nebraska in this conference. The calls will "always" go against Nebraska. Bo Pelini's "us against the world" mentality was a result of this and getting zero support from the UNL administration. Fast forward to Rhule and Co.. same old same old... the officiating has been, continues to be and will continue to rule against Nebraska for the next 20 or more years. Nebraska while in the Big 12 and Big 8 embarrassed virtually every Big 10 school they faced and this group of OG's hasn't and won't forget it.

The B1G schools don't want Nebraska in this conference but are handcuffed by the BTN and their need to keep Nebraska (the #3 bellcow) in the conference. Nebraska, if they had any backbone would contact the SEC and get the hell out of this "only blue states" conference. I hate politics but they exists and Nebraska is not a political fit for the B1G. As a result, Huskers fans will for the unforseeable future suffer through a never ending bias against us in every meaningful (and likely the less meaningful too) sport. The only sports they can't manipulate (well, are limited by is maybe a better statement) is Men's Baseball & Women's Softball. You'll see it in the women's volleyball Friday, Cook will get a no call or lose more then 1 challenge against Wisconsin.

The UCLA game won't have any inconsistent officiating because UCLA is also not and OG but the bias will again show it's ugliness against Wisky and finally, against Iowa.

Nebraska needs to gtfo of the B1G and move to the SEC.. This conference is a political statement more so than an athletic conference.
