Oklahoma Play-by-Play

Some people might act like this really isn't "play-action" because it's not that much of a fake but look how hard all the LBs bite.  Gives 2AM a ton of room to throw a short out.

Usually the way those are drawn up is the under route opposite the 2 crossers rubbing behind is who you are looking for. The wideout on the left who the play was probably intended for was wide open with a clear line of sight- so was Allen.

Nice job everyone avoiding the big collisions and getting their heads turned around that get the OPI calls like we have in the past. Looks like they may have got some coaching last week- thank goodness

Really nice play by the OU defender to get in the hole wrong-shoulder and blow it up.  But the concept is nice.  Just need Vokolek to get up field a little more.


 
We are particularly bad at picking up twists and stunts.

I've only gotten through the first half on a rewatch and there were a lot of times when the protection was good.  I guess half the time according to PFF.  But we seem to miss on this every time.
