I love a coach who is serious about special teams, and Riley certainly seems so. The best NFL coaches do. "All three phases" of the game.Outside of a handful of returners, special teams players rarely are stars. But part of Reads job is to instill pride and purpose in the players usually reserves who make up the different units. That builds team-wide buy-in, creates defined roles and turns a player who could walk into a diner unnoticed into an expert at one position.
