Who is responsible for improving a mentally fragile program?

You know me. Love the team, but always hate the staff. I thought we'd get UCLA. Thought we'd surprise PSU. Said to run counters, RPO, PA, attack the edge, quick hitting passes, stack the box....Offensively things most OC's would know as blitz beaters. But to my usual rant. The staff sucks.

My gripe is the trenches. I totally believe the offense is dictated base on players you have. Our line sucks. I agree we need to try to throw deeper to get the 8 guys out of the box.

In fairness…what adjustments would you have them make?

I mean, at least attempt to stop the run, but that's just me. Instead we just stop trying to stop anything is definitely considered an adjustment, but not the one you should make.

Hey, i told you what would happen in the other thread haha. We all know it, we all wanted to be wrong, but we all knew better.

haha. Truth!! I just keep hoping one day we will be on the right side of the coin toss. We need a lot more dudes for sure, And that includes the staff.

In the day of NIL Rhule is great. Podcasts, home visits, great face of the program. BUT he is a CEO. Hire some pipe hitters at OC and DC. Dudes who know the B1G and want to play slightly past the whistle in both sides. Give them cash and Asst HC titles if needed. Run the team. Let Rhule be the face. Keep Ek as ST (maybe L as well). Go after Garrison at Ole Miss as OL coach. Look at NDSU/SDSU/Montana for some asst/position coaches. Staff just isn't preparing or developing.
