We need coaches who know the B1G, not the NFL, not the big12/pac/acc etc. Until we get coaches who have actually run the gauntlet we will always be middle of the pack. We keep hiring people that have zero B1G experience for some unknown friggin reason and hope they can adjust......they can't adjust.
 
Until Cignetti did what he has done two years in a row for Indiana and what Elko has done in 2 years at A@M, you can see we did not hire the right guy. I really believe we can't get that guy anymore and that is why Alberts left as well. We are not doing something right in our showcasing this program to make big time coaches come here and allure up and comers from coming here.
 
It really boils down to a ton of frustration. You knew what they were gonna do on both sides of the ball and yet after two weeks you come out with the same plan on defense you've shown all year and still handcuff a kid that has a ton of potential by not working a plan to exploit his assets.
