Penn State Game Preview

This line seemed really high but I am also horrible at betting (and horrible at most things) so maybe it is spot on.

I do have a friend going to the game, bought his tickets at the start of the season and paid a crapload for them. He told me today you can snag them for 20 dollars.

unfortunately, I agree with Stumpy1. This game could end up like the gopher game.
It could. yep.

I listened to a podcast this morning and agreed with what was said. If I were required to put money on the game, I would take PSU to win and Nebraska to cover. AND....if I'm wrong, it's because Nebraska wins outright.

A blowout could happen against us. But, I just really don't think that's going to happen.

Penn State ran the ball 50 times against Michigan State. They threw 13 passes.

Let's be honest - that doesn't bode super well for us.

Butler will probably have to go against the grain of his usual M.O. to prioritize defending the pass because it just makes way more sense that they'll run a ton on us.

They know the scheme we run prioritizes pass defense. They know we're like top 5 in the country in pass defense. And the film says we don't take great angles and just aren't that good against the run.

So...

This might be a game that the score is something like 40-35 with neither team passing the ball more than 15 times.
