Look, i know we haven't been a natl title team for a while, but people say we SUCK.. and these comments are coming from KU fans..... They say, "Yeah, i know my team sucks, but at least im not a bandwagon jumper" Which by the way im not a freaking bandwagon jumper , i stick to my teams... They also say "look, you and i both know that NU will get killed by texas" or "the texas game earlier this year was a fluke"

WHY ARE PEOPLE SO STUPID????// I AM SO TIRED OF SAYING THE SAME FACTS TO PROVE THAT NU IS GOOD ITS GETTING ANNOYING!!!!!!!!

We will see if it was a fluke real soon. No we dont suck. We are not there yet but we are a good team.

 
i know LOL! But i just cant sit and watch people say we suck.. it bothers me so freaking much!!! if they offered stats to back it up , or something ANYTHING that would make them look less of idiots... I back up what i say with stats (or i try to)... Let me give you an example or 2...

I was talking to a KU fan yesterday, and they said haha what was the score of last years game? So i said , what was the score of the 38 years before thats game? They said, No one cares about those games.. so i said , no one cares about last year... and they stoped talking

Today, someone said , NU sucks.. they will get blown out by texas.. So i said , oh thats why we rank better then them in FIVE of the SEVEN categories?? (The categoires meaning run offense/ defense... Pass offense/ defence..... PPG etc etc etc)

 
KU had all those NCAA violations and still only raised their program to mediocre. Almost go on the death penalty and nothing to show for it. No wonder they're bitter.

Rule of life: Morons are morons and always will be. Best response to comments like that are a knowing nod with a look askance and a little chuckle to back it up. We know the truth, and so do they. They just don't want to admit that when they say NU sucks, after NU beat them, they really only mean their team sucks worse.

There are a share of anti-Husker flamers who you just can't reason with. Not so much over here, but there are some Husker fans who are just as bad. For example, the AOL board.

Keep in mind that these flamers make a living of getting a rise out of you. If you respond to them, it's mission accomplished as far as they are concerned. If you ignore them, you are winning the mind game. Simply smile and :bonez . So I wouldn't let it bother you.

 
Here's my opinion on the state of the Nebraska football team:

We are good... borderline very good when we play well. However, if we don't bring our 'A' game we are VERY average. Especially on the road. We can't beat teams by just showing up like we used to. I think it is safe to say we have the right coach and offensive system (I'm still not sure about the defensive system- right when I think Cosgrove has turned us around and done all of the right things we end up with another KU game) and we are beginning to get the right players in. All we need is a few more years and I think we will be VERY GOOD to great depending on the year and what we lost the previous year.

You hit the nail right on the head, Fife.

If I were going to the Bowl Game I would want San Diego, but that's just because it's a great place to go, 'specially in winter.

Would love a BCS bowl, but the Cotton would be terrific, as it is on New Year's Day!

There is never a bad time to go to San Diego in my opinion. Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina. :lol:

 
I am hoping for Fiesta, but if not I am for the Holiday. I will be ordering tickets today.

As for respect who cares. The media is starting to give us some and that is what is important. Keep the faith.

 
The only ways we get respect this season are A - win the big 12. B - beat a team in a bowl game we are supposed to get killed by, like last year.
