Pinstripe Bowl

For those of you that are going, where are you staying?

Are there places to look for packages?
I've heard advertisements for Husker trip packages.  I'm sure if you contacted the ADs office they could point you in a direction.

I've spent some time in this area over the years.  If you really want the Manhattan experience.  Spend the money and stay somewhere around south end of Central Park. But, you're going to spend money.  I've visited and flew into Newark and stayed by the airport.  We took the train in to the city.  You could also stay in much of New Jersey, just pick a city that might be interesting, and save some money.  Heck, I've stayed in Philly and took the train into NYC before to visit. Heck, you could even stay up in Connecticut and find some beautiful places to visit.  Or....eastern Long Island.  My point is, you don't have to stay IN NYC to have a great experience in the area with a fairly easy time getting to and from the game.

Do you want to attend fan events?  I saw a two day package through the alumni association. They were staying a super expensive hotel, so I’m sure it’s pricey. They do have some fun events.

Are we practicing yet? I know things feel off kilter with all the changes, but I think the extra practices are extra invaluable this year because of all new staff. Let them learn the guys names and see what they can do.

Has anyone gotten any tickets in the Ford Field Club level? Very confusing that the school is selling tickets outside of this section for $60 more per ticket than the Yankees are selling them for (what looks to be) the Field Club section. If one goes to this thing, it seems like it would be wise to have a place inside.

I wonder if The Husker Board Powers That Be will begin the prediction contest  a bit early now that we know who our opponent is.  Some of us are chomping at the bit to show off our prognostication skills when it comes to bowl games (this is how I've amassed my wealth over the years:  $6.88 cash).

Let's get going on this.
