I've heard advertisements for Husker trip packages. I'm sure if you contacted the ADs office they could point you in a direction. For those of you that are going, where are you staying?
Are there places to look for packages?
I've spent some time in this area over the years. If you really want the Manhattan experience. Spend the money and stay somewhere around south end of Central Park. But, you're going to spend money. I've visited and flew into Newark and stayed by the airport. We took the train in to the city. You could also stay in much of New Jersey, just pick a city that might be interesting, and save some money. Heck, I've stayed in Philly and took the train into NYC before to visit. Heck, you could even stay up in Connecticut and find some beautiful places to visit. Or....eastern Long Island. My point is, you don't have to stay IN NYC to have a great experience in the area with a fairly easy time getting to and from the game.
