Prime Time!!! - Deion Sanders Hired as Colorado Head Coach

I remember when a long time and pretty well respected member of this board left it because of Deion and how he felt the topic was being treated.
 
He got upset for saying something he shouldn't have and getting caught, then proceeded to claim the entire thread was filled with hate and racism and that we weren't doing anything about it (we were where necessary).

People were saying some out of pocket stuff and we were moderating it as needed, but people never want to hear that when they get in trouble.

I agree.
But fining the school is the weird part.

Like, how many people have to say it for it to be the schools fault?

If one fan of an opposing team came to a Husker game, sat in the Husker student section and yelled out something slanderous, should NU be fined? Of course not.

What if the yelled out "We love the Mormons" but the people doing the fining, did not love the Mormons, should they be fined?

The people doing the yelling should be fined and/or removed. Not the school.

the school didn't remove them..so maybe that is why they get to pay the fine?
