QB Josh Freeman

Considering he won the accuracy competition at the Elite 11 Camp, I'm not to particulary worried about his accuracy.

Maybe that's just the homer side in me talking, or maybe just common sense? ;)

More important question is "who cares?" I have seen enough high school games to realize that completion percentage is based far more on how good your receivers are than how good your quarterback is. I watched my brother's team play against a three star quarterback prospect Alex Lukus from Deerfield Illinois, and he had a horrible game passing because we had decent corners and his receivers sucked. Not his fault, but his team end up winning, because of him. That's what I am more concerned with, if quarterbacks have what it takes to win.

Lukus is dual threat quarterback and is likely headed to Stanford now that Northwestern has targeted another quarterback. My brother by the way had 1 quarterback hurry and a great hit as well as a couple of tackles while playing Nose Guard in a very tough conference at 5'6'' 165 pounds. That is one tough little kid. It doesnt hurt that he reps 215 at his size. What a crazy little dude!!!!

That's a great point. Hard to find soild receivers

hello, well since we have 4 pages of positive talk about freeman here is some negitive -

he is now being listed by rivals as a soft verbal to UN (look it up if you wish, - it is written in colored print on his player database page - SOFT VERBAL)

rumor has it that he maybe taking one more visit to ou - I guess possibly dec.

rumor has it that he is growing weary of UN's lack of protection for their qb, & lack of development from their ol

p.s. - do not kill the messager, & please, think happy thoughts like UN's coaches will calm the kid's uneasiness (but stay tuned anyway to this one - it could get wild w/ all sort of guessworks).
